Overview
Another 'gap filler' conceived by EMI (Australia)—no doubt influenced by the similar Capitol US single released the previous month—to maintain a market presence and sales momentum, with both tracks taken from the Rubber Soul LP released the previous month.

Deleted in December 1968, the single would not be reissued until 1982, where in June it was recut (both sides in stereo) at Studios 301 by Allan Parsons for inclusion in the Australian 20th Anniversary Singles Collection. It subsequently went out of print again before returning on 7 December 1987.
