Overview
Much like other countries, EMI (Australia) released this single to accompany the new compilation LP, Reel Music. However, locally there were a few differences. Firstly, EMI (Australia) did not pony up for a picture sleeve, preferring to use a generic EMI sleeve instead. More oddly though was the mastering of the disc itself. For reasons unknown, Allan Parsons faded out the Medley just before the end, essentially excising the applause. Also, for the flipside, they went to the PARLO 574 tape (the previous years' A Hard Day's Night Original Motion Picture Sound Track LP), meaning it appears in 'ping-pong' stereo rather than true stereo like overseas releases.
