"This book has been very well researched and compiled by my good friend Jaesen Jones. It's amazing; there are facts in here that not even I can remember! A really informative book!"

"An incredible musical journey took place during the 'analogue/vinyl/tape era'. Now, Jaesen Jones presents us all with a 'look back' in this beautifully written, designed and superbly documented account of our band's sojourns. Ever thanks for your Executive synergy, Jae."

"Now! Where do I start! The beginning would be a good place! My first information in regard to this event came from my daughter Aimee. She informed me that someone was trying to get in touch with me about writing a book about The Executives. She passed on my contact details and pretty soon I was speaking with Jae. He sent me a rough draft and I was amazed at the information that he had gathered. From that point on we were speaking on a regular basis. The articles and information that he had obtained, many of those I have only vague memories of, are wonderful. I thank all of the members of the group, their family and friends for their input in gathering the information that is in this book. A very special thank you to Jae and his family for an incredible effort in putting this together. I know that this book brings back great memories for all involved. It certainly does for me!"

"Jaesen has compiled a very entertaining and accurate account of The Executives over quite a long time period. I am sure all old members (myself included) had forgotten many of the gigs and happenings over the years but it was good to revisit those days."
   - Brian King, keyboardist

"Wow, how did you get all the details on the gigs we worked? Reading through the book explained why I was constantly tired!"
   - Carole King, vocalist

"I was knocked out by the product result you achieved. The book is fabulous. The whole presentation is a knockout. It is much better than I had expected. And the in depth research is very impressive. The Executives were a polished outfit & the book you have presented is fitting & as equally impressive. You have done very well & The Exec's must be very pleased with you what you have done. Thank you."

"[O]ver the last year Jaesen Jones has written the story of the band in all its detail. The book has been recently privately published and is obviously a labour of love. Jaesen fell in love with the band in the '80s - long after their heyday and has produced a book that is beautiful to look at and fascinating to read. The book was written with the help of members of the band, and at 160 pages have all of the wonderful details that we love, as well as wonderful pictures and extra material to provide a great overview of the band. This is a fascinating and beautiful book that I highly recommend to anyone interested in Australian music or music from the '60s."

"I have just finished reading the history of the Executives (Their Aim Is To Please You). This is a really well researched and interesting book. Jaesen Jones has done a fantastic job writing this. Anyone with an interest in Aussie music read this as many other Aussie bands and fans would be familiar with many of the venues in this book as well as all the other bands under the guidance of Harry Widmer and Cordon Bleu."
