About the author
When not engaged in his day-to-day profession as an Executive Director in the Australian Public Service, Jaesen Jones lives music. If he is not listening to music, he will be researching music, usually Australian record labels and bands of the sixties.
Born in Brisbane in 1972, he has spent three quarters of his life playing drums, keyboards and guitar, including ten years as a reservist musician in the Australian Army Band Newcastle.
The Executives: Their Aim Was To Please You is his third music reference book, following two popular books documenting the production and marketing of Beatles records in Australia between 1963 and 1991. These earlier works earned him a reputation worldwide as an Australian Beatles specialist as well as that of an in-depth researcher/historian who leaves no stone unturned.
Jaesen otherwise lives an uneventful life in Canberra with his youngest daughter Emma. He has two older daughters Hannah and Rebecca.
